FIA MGB for sale Ready to race 1964 FIA MGB spec race car eligible for events including th, Equipe GTS Series, Silverstone Classic, CSCC Appendix K Series, Master Gentleman Drivers etc. A competitive car that has run in the top ten of the Equipe GTS grid during 2018 in addition to achieving class success in the CSCC appendix K series. Built from a bare shell as a lightweight FIA spec car, great attention has been taken throughout the original build to develop a competitive racing package, which is eligible for FIA papers. The car features a MG Motorsport 1853cc full race FIA spec engine. The engine has Arrow steel crank, Arrow steel con-rods, competition bearings, forged JE +1.2mm pistons. A duplex Vernier timing gear, MG Motorsport camshaft and MGC cam followers. The cylinder head is polished and ported. It has a Baffled sump, Weber 45DCOE carburettor, competition distributor, big bore tubular manifold and exhaust system. The car is fitted with a four syncro close ratio gearbox, 4.1.1 ratio Crown Wheel & Pinion and TranX plate type L.S.D. 5 1/2 J Minilite style wheels are currently fitted with Dunlop L section racing tyres, with two spares included. The car’s interior is well finished with correct switch gear and racing gauges. It is fitted with a 2018 B6 Screamer Tillett racing seat, FIA Schroth six point belts and full race spec roll cage with belt bar.
