Equipe Classic Racing was invited to join the Ardennes Challenge at the Spa Summer Classic in June. We fielded 44 cars for the event and we would like to thank all the drivers and teams that made the event such a success for us. Will Linley took P1 in the first race with Rawles and Rawles claiming visctory in the second race.

We were delighted to field 46 cars for the Brands Hatch GP race on Sunday 27th March. Lee Atkins put in another fantastic performance in the TVR to claim both pole and overall victory. Mark Holme took P2 in his Healey 3000 with Martin Brewer in P3 driving the beautiful Aston Martin Project 214 Copy. Mark Ashworth lead the field from Pole Position all the way to the flag to claim victory at Oulton Park. He was followed by Rob Cull (TVR) and Richard McKoen (MGB). We had a bumper grid of 35 cars for the race at one of the UK’s most picturesque circuits.

We We had two double header races at Brands Hatch Indy on 27-28th April 2019. In race A it was Mark Ashworth who took P1 overall with Tim Greenhill in 2nd and David Keers-Trafford in 3rd. In race B it was Rob Cull who took first overall after a very strong drive from the back of the grid at the start of the race. Jon Payne took P2 with David Keers-Trafford P3; his second podium of the weekend.

In the first Equipe Classic racing event of 2019 Lee Atkins took pole position in the Equipe GTS A Group race. He was challenged by Rob Cull’s TVR in the early part of the race but was able to take a commanding lead to finish over 20 seconds clear of Chris Ryan in his TR4. Behind Ryan,  Mark Holme drove an excellent race to finish ahead of Stephen Winter in the beautiful Porsche 911.
